How many mittens can be made from one sweater?
​
On average 2-3 depending on the size of the sweater, the design which impacts placement of the pattern pieces, the mitten size you are requesting, stains, holes, tears or pulled fibers.

What is the cost of your mittens?
​
Mittens come in 5 adult sizes (small, medium, large, xlarge and xxlarge) for $65 per pair and we ship your completed order for free.

How do I know what size to order?
​
Measure from the tip of your middle finger to where your wrist begins. (See a visual description by viewing our hand sizing diagram HERE).
Small: 6-6.5"
Medium: 6.5-7"
Large: 7-7.5"
XLarge: 7.5-8"
XXLarge: 8-8.5"

Does the sweater have to be made from wool?
​
No. We can design your mittens from other sweater blends such as angora, cotton, polyester, acrylic and others.
​
Will my mittens be lined?
​
Yes, we line each pair of mittens with our plush anti-pill fleece with a coordinating color that accents the sweater colors.

Can I have buttons added to my mittens?
Embellishments such as buttons can be attached to your memory mittens for an additional fee of $5.00 per pair.
Is it necessary for me to clean the sweater(s) before sending?
​
Yes. The condition of the sweater material when laundered will produce the ultimate outcome and the best mittens.
What options do I have for payment?

Do I pay for shipping?
​
You pay for shipping to send the sweater(s) and if you want the leftover sweater material sent back. We pay to ship your completed order.

Can I have the left over sweater material back?
​
Yes. An additional processing fee of $10 will be charged as well as shipping and handling cost.

How do I care for my mittens if they get dirty?
​
Launder based on the type of sweater material. Most mittens are machine washable on the delicate cycle in cold water and line dried.
